Root Fabric is a wall tapestry cultivated from plant root systems. The material, grown from roots, is stabilized to become a flexible surface designed for interior walls. It is finished with an atelier-made, algae-based varnish. Its texture resembles leather, with natural variations in grain and tone. The piece shown here is unique. Root Fabric can also be developed as a veneer or wall cladding, adaptable to different surfaces in collaboration with architects and designers.
