Mush Light was first danced as a sculpted shoulder piece, worn by one of the two dancers in a duet, grown from SoundRoot for a dance performance during a haute couture catwalk. After the show, it was taken apart and sculpted by hand into a luminaire. The shade is woven from roots and shoots, sealed with an algae-based bio-varnish developed in the studio. This is a one-off: its form comes from a single growth and cannot be reproduced.
